Metamorphosis Lyrics: HELLYA'Leujah

Hellya'leujah...

There are so many things to atone
...bring to the light like a sizzling "HA!"
Like the first moment I heard you moan,
A comet hit home.
Like a meteorite struck my dome,
Flooding with light, down our spines,
From the crown to the ground, dispelling the doubts,
And all I can make out was the sound of "OM"...

And I pictured us like that,
Like a pause in a spoken word,
A cosmic thought in mid-breath,
We'd never look at the clock, let the eyes rest,
Let's not rush to the end, my Love...
What should be our end?
Our silver thread?
My most beloved of friends, is there an end?

Damn I was dizzy with similes trying to describe what we had,
...couldn't deny the massage feeling of sand,
Slipping through our soft hand-held hands grasp.
They say diamonds are forever, but this is longer than that,
We just said our goodbyes, so what am I supposed to make of that?

Alone...or at least without you being close...or at least not close enough for me to hold you,
But still I hear that moan being spoken with the unfolding tone of...

Hellya'leujah

I'm on my own now,
Still thinking of you wondering how you're doing love...
Trinkets of conversations and familiar places cascade above.
This facet's been running for years,
And we resolved it by pulling the plugs,
But then all at once, came the flood...your smile bubbled to the surface and then I was done.

The first your eyes looked into mine,
I saw something I couldn't say,
I wanted to give myself away like a sand castle to the ocean waves.

"Please take me." I heard you whisper it too,
And like invisible strings tied to each other we moved,
And gave into it like we were used to it,
Like mathematicians that need no prove.
And from there it was me and you,
The two of us like two trees on the same trunk,
We'd go the mountains on a full moon,
On the same orbit around the sun,

But we're on our own now,
In different directions around the same sun,
I miss you.
I love you.
It seems our invisible strings have been cut,
My love, there's nothing sadder than thinking this is the last time we'll see the moon,
But we are perennial flowers floating in space in orbit,
So I'll see you soon!

Hellya'leujah
